Unique GeoArt

We invite you to explore our large portfolio of striking GeoArt. At StudioSpatial, we have a unique mix of tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in both the technical aspects of map making and the creative domain of fine art. Combining our flair and expertise with the natural beauty of our world allows us to deliver distinctive pieces that are sure to attract attention. Check out our Portfolio to see some examples. Our spatial artworks can be customised to suit you.

Explore the possibilities….

1: Your Colours

Have you seen a design in our Portfolio that you love but want in a different colour scheme in order to match your home/office favourite colours, footy team, etc? Do you want us to design a new artwork to match your specific colour scheme? We can help!

Download the Colour Matching Palette and let us know which colours you want your customised artwork to feature or to complement. You can also just share something with us that indicates your colour preferences (e.g. a photo, reference to a well-known feature, brand, etc.).

2: Your Area

Our earth has some amazingly beautiful, interesting, rugged, busy and peaceful places. Use the interactive map to find the area you are interested in. We can also give you some ideas if you share with us the types of natural features that are meaningful to you (e.g. rivers, mountains, islands, cities). To give you a quote, we need to know the country or region of the world your special area falls within, and the closest identified place to it (e.g. it might be a city, a suburb, or a famous landmark).

3: Your Size

We can print at most sizes, so let us know what size best suits you.

4: Your Date

We can acquire satellite imagery on a specific date to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or any other special occasion. This does however depend on where the satellite is in relation to your preferred location, so please contact us for advice and options to suit your moments to remember.

5: Your Material

We can print on canvas, all types of paper, glass, aluminium and even silk. If you require other materials please ask and we'll see what we can do!

6: Your Artwork

Please Contact us to learn more. If you’re struggling for ideas, we can help! We’re excited to learn more about you, so that we can work together to create something truly amazing that you will love!

We have designed artworks over many places around the world. If your area of interest is not yet covered, please Contact us and we will explore the possibilities together. We currently have a portfolio of 191 areas around the globe including:

41 over Oceania,

53 over Asia and the Middle East

32 over the Europe

29 over Africa

49 over the Americas.

Our Eyes in the Sky

We use the Landsat satellite imagery archive to develop our spatial artworks. The Landsat image archive has been continually updated since the launch of the first earth observing satellite (Landsat-1) in 1972. Since then, multiple satellites within the Landsat program have been launched, with spectral resolutions ranging from 80m down to 15m as technology has evolved. With a repeat capture delivery every 16 days. These sensors can capture large areas of the earth's surface. The detail contained within the spectral bandwidths can be scientifically assessed to extract information such as mineral compositions, or used for environmental monitoring. StudioSpatial extends these innovative techniques into the aesthetic domain to create personalised spatial artworks.

An Eye for Detail

The level of detail on the screenshots within our galleries is restricted when viewing in a web browser, as you can see from the illustration over Uluru, Australia. The level of detail within the artwork you receive will be significantly better. We are happy to provide you with an example upon request.

Colour Change

By changing the colour combinations slightly you can create dramatically different artworks, as illustrated here over the island of Socrata in Yemen. When you choose your area of interest we can provide examples of different colour combinations over your area of interest as part of the
collaborative process we use to create your piece of art.
